The School District of Arcadia is accepting applications for a full-time High School Science/STEM teacher. This position will include teaching High School Science 2023-2024 school year. Applicants must have or be working toward Wisconsin DPI certifications for teaching 6-12 Science.Athletic coaching and extracurricular advising opportunities may also be available.The successful, student-centered candidate may be responsible for teaching sophomore Biology, as well as upper-level Anatomy & Physiology and/or AP Biology. Courses that are taught could be adjusted based on the certifications and strengths of the members of the science department. She or he will balance the high expectations of a standards-based curriculum, an all-means-all focus, and an engaging delivery that ignites student creativity and learning. We seek a teacher who will create a family-like atmosphere where positive student relationships and professional performance meet.
