SAU #9 is seeking applicants for the position of Interim Superintendent of Schools (full or part-time). The SAU #9 Board invites highly qualified and future focused candidates to apply for the position of Interim Superintendent of Schools, with a start date of July 1, 2024.

SAU #9 provides educational services for students in the Mount Washington Valley from Albany, Bartlett, Chatham, Conway, Eaton, Hart's Location, and Jackson, NH. At the 7th and 8th grade levels, students from Madison and Freedom enter our schools. By the time they reach the 9th grade, we also welcome students from Tamworth.

The mission of SAU #9 is to cultivate the natural inclination to learn by providing an exceptional environment in which students embrace excellence in learning for a lifetime of success. The SAU #9 is located in Conway, New Hampshire in the heart of the Mount Washington Valley, 50 miles outside Portland, Maine and the seacoast. The SAU #9 serves just over 1,700 students in six schools: Elementary School (grades K-2) - Center Conway, Elementary School (grades 3-5)- Conway, A. Crosby Kennett Middle School (grades 6-8) - Conway, Kennett High School (grades 9-12)- North Conway, MWV Career & Technical Center (grades 9-12) - North Conway, Josiah Bartlett Elementary School (grades K-8)- Bartlett, and Jackson Grammar School (grades K-6) - Jackson.
