Supply Chain Planning Intern for
Summer 2024 in our
Columbia, SC Manufacturing Facility. This position is on-site, so the ideal candidate must be located in the
general area.

Great people make Schneider Electric a great company. What do you get to do in this position? - Implement and control the inventory levels (raw materials and finished goods)
- Ability to support inventory control, warehousing, customer service, and shipping
- Analyze parts and spend with suppliers to look for consolidation opportunities
- Interact with suppliers to drive key metrics like on time delivery, Quality & Productivity
- Interact with Materials, Engineering, Manufacturing & Quality functions and understand how
supply chain impacts each of the functions - Exposure to basic processes of Supply Chain Planning
- Develop reports to help analyze trends in various areas and drive corrective actions
- Purchase Order (PO) and Supplier Management

This job might be for you if: - Currently enrolled in a four-year university program or a two-year master's program
- Preferred field of study include Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics,
Engineering or Business Administration - Comfortable using digital tools (Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, ERP, Tableau, etc.)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- The ability to influence and convince yet maintain an open mind to other ideas and approaches
- Well organized including but not limited to the ability to handle multiple demands and
assignments in parallel, the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently. - Open to learning about Supply Chain Planning and the world of manufacturing
