Job Description:
Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Sales Leader for the Strategic Accounts Inside Sales Team located remotely within the United States.
What will you do?
The SAO Inside Sales Role is a quota carrying digital sales support role with a specific set of named enterprise class accounts and includes shared responsibility for moving customers through the account lifecycle while selling at all phases of the datacenter lifecycle. This includes supporting existing end-user clients, forming new business relationships, discovering new opportunities, generating proposals and closing business, as a team, using the best telecommunications and technology tools available. As the leader of this team, you have the responsibility of driving a high level of performance, attention to details, customer service, and strategic thinking.
If you have inside and/or outside sales experience in data center environments (physical infrastructure, hardware, servers, networking, software, or professional services) as well as experience in sales management or a strong desire to take a successful sales career into a leadership role, you will find this both a challenging and rewarding position. Our standards are high, and we will require an individual with strong leadership skills; outstanding presentation, written and verbal skills; ability to understand and navigate complex business environments; and the ability to interpret and present team performance metrics.
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 2-3 years of successful data center sales experience in a multi-channel sales model
- Sales Leadership experience helpful
- Discipline and energy to maintain strong management practices
- Knowledge of IT environments, data center facilities and technologies in use today
- Experience with electrical and mechanical requirements of critical computing environments
- A working knowledge of business processes, profit and loss, market strategy, and financial terms
- Experience in use of CRM applications, cadence process, and sales forecasting
- Prior experience selling APC products, services, solutions, or similar data center products is highly desirable
