Job description
Schlueter Periodontics & Implants is a specialty practice looking for a Full-time enthusiastic Assistant who would enjoy being an integral part of an expanding patient centered practice. Our office excels with consistent excellence in the patient experience. Would you enjoy working in an office complete with diagnostic technology and implant dentistry? A few responsibilities would include:
- Assisting doctor with a variety of treatment procedures
- Work with patients to make them comfortable and prepare them for treatment
- Prepare patient for surgical treatment and sedation anesthesia, intravenous sedation
- Transferring surgical instruments and prepare surgical dressings
- Effectively communicate pre- and post-operative care instructions
- Collection and recording of patient health history
- Accurately recording dental records to completely reflect the nature of the contact, the condition of the patient and the care or treatment provided
- Sterilize dental instruments
- Taking digital x-rays

Experience:
- Dental Assistant: 1 year (Preferred)
- CDA/RDA License (Preferred)
- Local and IV Sedation Certification (Preferred)
- Experience in Dentrix (Preferred)
- Periodontics knowledge required
