You can expect to:

• Explore and design engaging, usable, thoughtful, and on-brand digital experiences that meet internal external goals and achieve client marketing objectives.
• Be a visual problem solver with a clear understanding of how to effectively use the digital toolkit: typography, color, spacing, design elements, hierarchy, depth, interactions, motion, etc.
• Partner with creative teams to help meet broader creative strategy goals through digital and interactive design.
• Collaborate with writers to collectively inform the design and content for digital projects.
• Help create medium- and high-fidelity wireframes and leverage them to inform design decisions.
• Develop interactive prototypes for presentations and usability testing.
• Problem-solve and build usable solutions for detailed interactive experiences — thinking through and building out all design states and clearly articulating design intent and interactions to developers and motion designers.
• With a detailed understanding of development team needs, design and deliver experiences that developers can understand and build.
• Collaborate with account teams to support existing client relationships through guidance and digital expertise to ensure expectations of creative deliverables are met.
• Advocate for the users of the digital products we create.
• Convincingly present your work and strategic rationale to internal stakeholders and to clients using excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Be engaged and a true team player — working beautifully with others.
• Design for other mediums as needed — digital advertising, print, social, etc.

Skills & Requirements:

• A portfolio of work demonstrating 4 years of experience creating great user-centered design solutions across multiple interfaces and screen sizes.
• Proficiency in Sketch or Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Invision and Microsoft Office applications. Working knowledge of InDesign and/or After Effects is a plus but not required.
• Responsive design experience for web and application design.
• Execute and own visual design from concept to front-end development handoff.
• Experience with design systems and atomic design methodology.
• Flexibility to roll with multiple demands from internal clients and the creative team.
• Adept at integrating new technologies, techniques, and ideas into work.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and WordPress.
• Effectively manages time and concurrent design efforts.
• Can provide estimates on the level of effort for requested projects.
• Must assist in creating and fostering a culture of inclusivity, knowledge sharing, and entrepreneurial thinking.
