Description

• Build and maintain relationships with customers, engaging multiple key contacts within the customer

• Partner with assigned sales team representatives to maximize account management

• Proactively update account contact information within company systems and alert key departments when updates are made

• Offer product knowledge and support to build the basket of each incoming order

• Work closely with Relief Sales and Sales Representatives to support customer needs that may arise

• Inform customers of company updates, product recalls or product changes that impact them directly

• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer concerns, including but not limited to logistics, finance, operations, purchasing, marketing, and sales team

• Carry out client satisfaction survey and reviews as designed by marketing

• Log all calls and actions associated with each customer-maintain CRM to globally inform company of account status

• Pass new account inquiries to appropriate sales representative for prospecting campaign

• Work with Customer Focus Coordinator to attend monthly sales meetings-taking turns as a team Communicate regularly with other departments to support job functions

• Provide assistance to walk-in customers, pulling each product ensuring accuracy and quality

• Assist customer with loading orders into vehicles

• Provide assistance in other areas as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED, college degree preferred

• Food industry knowledge/ Warehouse experience preferred

• Professional, consistent customer service skills

• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build positive rapport with customers

• Computer experience to include Microsoft office and CRM tools

• Impressionable verbal and written communication skills

• Strong work ethic and team participation

• Able to lift an average of 40lbs repetitively (and up to 80lbs); ability to bend and reach for products and walk on concrete floors for extended periods of time

• Previous experience working in client relationship role preferred
