Responsibilities :

• Vision / Strategy
• E-Commerce experience is required with a focus on Merchandising, Buying, and Inventory management. Ability to foresee upcoming opportunities and effectively prepare the team and office for handling various situations in the best interest of SCHEELS.

Ability to see what is happening in the industry and understand how to bring this to SCHEELS for constant improvements. Understanding customer behavior and identifying sales opportunities within new and existing markets across all categories and channels to drive consistent sales growth.

• Office Impact / Leadership Ability
• Ability to lead multiple business areas from hard goods, sporting goods, footwear, and apparel. Proven ability to lead and develop teams with a constant growth mindset.

Maintain strong crew relationships and the ability to empower and assist with assessing and teaching daily. Understands Team First mentality and willingness to adapt and adjust to maximize office and company impact.

• Strong Communication
• Ability to collaborate cross-offices with Buying Office, Marketing, Store teams, & Fulfillment centers through clear communication.

Meets regularly with vendors across all shops to learn more about the latest trends and available merchandise and foster a strong working relationship.

Ability to conduct high-level meetings cross-office and with key industry partners.

Education & Experience :

• 5 years in E-Commerce Sales / Merchandising / Inventory management or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of leading a team with strong performance, sales growth, and profit.

Physical Requirements / Lifting Requirements :

Must be able to sit, stand (for extended periods of time), bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push / pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.

Very heavy work Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and / or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and / or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
