Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
- Assess and document patient symptoms, progress, and response to treatments.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
- Assist with procedures such as dermal fillers, gastric lavage, and sterile processing.
- Perform specimen collection processing and medical imaging as needed.
- Provide family planning and care for patients of all ages.
- Ensure accurate coding and documentation of patient encounters using electronic health record systems.
- Specialize in dementia care and provide support to patients and their families.
Skills:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Attention to detail for accurate documentation and coding.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with medical imaging equipment and procedures.
- Knowledge of sterile processing techniques for maintaining a safe healthcare environment.
