SCAN is Hiring a Clinical Manager Near South Bend, IN

CLINICAL MANAGER
Region 1,2,3
Provide ongoing training, supervision, direction, and program implementation to clinicians who are providing a variety of services that utilize evidenced-based models to children and families at risk for child abuse and neglect or have been impacted by child abuse and neglect, a blended service line of both prevention services and intervention services. This position is responsible for ensuring effective program outcomes, compliance with accreditation standards, court orders, insurance/Medicaid requirements, as well as the Department of Child Services service standards. This position requires training and certification in the following evidenced-based practices: Family Centered Treatment, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Nurturing Parenting, Parent Coordination, Domestic Violence Services, Motivational Interviewing, and best practices in reunification of children/families. This is a leadership position within our corporation. Leaders at SCAN are expected to coach, develop, mentor, guide, support and teach staff to instill SCAN’s core values, beliefs, vision, and mission related to quality service to families and children, as well as one another.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Oversight of clinicians in their day-to-day service delivery, ensuring quality services to all children and families.
  • In collaboration with agency leaders, oversee caseload capacity to ensure budgetary expectations.
  • Oversee the implementation of effective tracking and monitoring systems to ensure compliance with program service standards, evidenced-based models, accreditation standards, agency performance quality improvement system and best practices in intervention programs.
  • Oversee the implementation of effective tracking and monitoring systems to ensure quality outcomes for all programs.
  • Participate in and support staff evaluations, development, training, onboarding, certifications/licensing, and outcome evaluations.
  • Ability to effectively implement personnel and agency program policies and procedures as outlined in the agency policy manuals.
  • Work in tandem with agency and program leaders to complete an annual program evaluation of all programs to assist with annual planning.
  • Ensure effective case supervision to ensure compliance from assessments to treatment plans to goal completion
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical oversight of child welfare programs, or clinical services.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and demonstrated safe driving record.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
  • Requires flexibility in work schedule, including the need to work occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to work under stressful conditions, to deal with volatile individuals.
  • Requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets or bend and stoop as necessary.
  • Requires the ability to occasionally lift office supplies, materials, and equipment up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to drive, as well as utilize dependable transportation.
  • Some flexibility in hours is allowed, the employee must work 40 hours each week to maintain full-time status.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related human service field.
  • Possess Clinical Licensure in the State of Indiana: LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW
