Position Title: Lead Installer, Building Automation Systems

Location: MD/DC/Northern, VA

Compensation: $35-$45 per hour

Description: The Lead Installation Technician is responsible for reading and interpreting Mechanical and Automatic Temperature Control Drawings and overseeing and directing assigned projects and team members. Candidate will ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direction and leadership to assigned team members as well as subcontractors
• Participate in project preplanning process
• Lead the execution of assigned projects
• Identify customer issues/ concerns, escalate accordingly to ensure problem resolution
• Coordinate work with other trades
• Run control wire per industry standard
• Install conduit and fittings per industry standard
• Mount and terminate controllers, sensors, and end devices
• Troubleshoot wiring and terminations of field-installed equipment with test instruments
• Day or night work shifts depending on the project schedule
• Work in areas exposed to weather. Some projects may be open deck construction sites
• Mentor junior level installation technicians

Minimum of 3 years experience in the installation of Building Controls and Automation required.
