Lights Fantastic Pro in Austin is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Lighting Technician & Skilled Trade Professional . Responsibilities:
- Install various types of light fixtures in accordance with safety standards and guidelines.
- Installation and warranty services of electrical lighting fixtures both in the showroom and at active job sites as well as client homes and properties.
- Perform routine maintenance and repair of light fixtures to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
- Utilize various trade skills to assist with general repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns related to lighting installations, repairs, and other maintenance services.
- Collaborate with our senior technician and learn from their expertise to enhance your skills and knowledge in both the lighting and trade skilled industries.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification or vocational training in electrical work or a related field is a plus.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and components is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
- Dependable transportation valid driver's license and up-to-date insurance are required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environmental conditions, including comfortably working on ladders.
- Maintenance skills such as basic carpentry, plumbing, and general repair knowledge are desirable.
