Lights Fantastic Pro in Austin is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Lighting Technician & Skilled Trade Professional . This role offers a unique chance to not only work with innovative light fixtures but also to utilize various industry skills to provide comprehensive services to our clients. If you are someone who thrives on learning new skills, has a strong work ethic, and enjoys paying attention to detail, this position might be the perfect fit for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Install various types of light fixtures in accordance with safety standards and guidelines.
  • Installation and warranty services of electrical lighting fixtures both in the showroom and at active job sites as well as client homes and properties.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair of light fixtures to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize various trade skills to assist with general repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns related to lighting installations, repairs, and other maintenance services.
  • Collaborate with our senior technician and learn from their expertise to enhance your skills and knowledge in both the lighting and trade skilled industries.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification or vocational training in electrical work or a related field is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems and components is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
  • Dependable transportation valid driver's license and up-to-date insurance are required.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environmental conditions, including comfortably working on ladders.
  • Maintenance skills such as basic carpentry, plumbing, and general repair knowledge are desirable.
