Saybr Contractors, Inc. is a $30 million, full-service general contractor with more than 27 years of experience performing vertical and horizontal construction throughout the Pacific Northwest. We are seeking a Controller to join our growing team and support us in our mission to build relationships and deliver exceptional projects.
The right person for this job will have strong administrative, accounting, and management skills with previous experience in the construction industry. A thorough understanding of the fundamentals of work-in-progress (WIP) schedules and revenue recognition is essential, along with an understanding of both public and private sector accounting requirements. A knowledge of our accounting system, ComputerEase, is preferred, but not a requirement.
This is more than a bookkeeping position and not just a supervisory role. We are seeking a hands-on, proactive, detail-oriented person with serious accounting skills that is able to dig into complex accounting issues with confidence. Saybr values solution-based creativity, team-oriented collaboration, and straight-forward communication; the successful candidate will exhibit all of these qualities.
Duties and responsibilities:
Education and Experience:
The salary range for this position is $95,000 to $125,000 per year. In addition, Saybr offers comprehensive medical and dental insurance coverage following one month of employment. Employees are eligible to participate in the company’s 401k/retirement plan following three months of employment.
