Construction is a hard job, but at the end of the day, it’s always worth it.
Forget boring cubicle work – every construction site brings new, interesting challenges. When a project is finished, you can look back and see that you built something new. Something that didn’t exist before. Something that will be there, in many cases, for generations to come. You get to build the stuff people depend on.
Every day you’ll have the opportunity to combine your training and your talent (use your hands and your brain) to get the job done. You’ll be working in an industry that is stable and in demand with regular hours and with plenty of downtime to enjoy yourself, have a family, and build a life. You’ll earn a competitive wage that continually increases with experience, and you’ll get solid benefits. And you’ll always be learning new things.
Saybr Contractors, Inc. is seeking physically hard-working and safety-minded team players to join our team as a general laborer in our growing Energy Division. We are looking for agile learners that can quickly pick up new skills and thrive in a role that challenges them, as well as an individual who likes to share the pressure, sweat, excitement, and diligence working with others.
Some construction experience is preferred, but is not required – we will train the right people – but you must have physical strength, endurance, and work well with your hands and with others. Safety is our number one priority, and must be yours as well.
We are a team-oriented company, where everyone does everything. Daily work can and will include: using hand and power tools, operating heavy equipment, lifting heavy materials (up to 100 lbs. on occasion), working outdoors in all weather conditions (including dusty and noisy environments), working on ladders and in deep, but safely-shored, excavations. Some out-of-town travel will be required; however, lodging is paid for and you will receive per diem. The salary range for this position is between $19/hour to $24/hour.
The best part of working with Saybr is the teamwork. As a part of our team, we commit to:
We’re all about providing the perks and benefits that make work and life easier and both a lot more balanced:
You must have dependable transportation and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical abilities test.
