Senior Tableau Analyst/Manager (Dublin, CA)

**We offer a Hybrid working environment with some days working from our offices in Dublin, CA and some days working from your home office.

We are growing and building out our BI and Analytics team and looking for a Senior Tableau Analyst/Manager. This individual will be a Tableau expert and passionate about using data analytics and data visualization to make a business impact.

This person will work with his/her peers in analytics, product, marketing and engineering teams across the company to help drive deeper understanding of our business and identify opportunities for growth. They will assist stakeholders with analytics and reporting and design strategic solutions that visualize complex data in a focused manner. 

Responsibilities to include

  • Design and develop visually appealing Tableau dashboards and reports that measure the performance of key metrics against operational goals and initiatives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with members from analytics, product, marketing and partnership teams to gather and validate functional requirements and provide design specifications
  • Ability to conduct in-depth data analysis to identify patterns, uncover insights and tell a compelling story with visualizations that can surface actionable insights
  • Communicate analytical insights and recommendations to technical as well as non-technical audiences
  • Be a team player and work cross-functionally with other teams to uncover data insights to identify new opportunities and help drive business growth
  • Help improve the quality and accessibility of our Data and Business Intelligence infrastructure

Skills

  • Bachelors’ degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or other quantitative field; advanced degree a plus
  • 5 years in analytics with a proven track record delivering insights to grow a business
  • Solid understanding of data systems (BI analytics, data blending, data warehousing, data ETL, etc.) on process automation and standardization
  • Expertise in SQL - Create and edit complex SQL queries within Tableau
  • Expertise in Tableau, (Certification in Tableau required)
  • Minimum 3 years of Tableau experience 
  • Strong sense of design and an understanding of how to create visually appealing charts and graphs to tell a story
  • Hands on experience with Tableau Desktop (dashboard creation, report authoring and troubleshooting, data source management)
  • Create interactive filters, parameters and calculations for preparing dashboards and worksheets in Tableau
  • Tableau embedded experience preferred
  • Excellent oral, written skills and listening skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and flexibility to change priorities when needed 

Base Salary

The annual base salary for this position is between $130,000.00 and $145,000.00 depending upon experience
