Saver Express Pharmacy is Hiring a Barista Near Ridgeland, MS

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and friendly Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of cold beverages and easy bakery items to our customers. Your role will also involve providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. If you have a passion for coffee and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of cold beverages, including milkshake, loaded tea, and specialty drinks, and easy bakery items
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences

-Straighten front end merchandise and assist in monitoring items to be reordered
- Operate beverage-related equipment and small cookie oven
- Ensure the quality and consistency of beverages by following recipes and standards
- Handle cash transactions using the cash register and maintain accurate records
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking their orders, and addressing any questions or concerns they may have
- Uphold food safety standards and follow proper sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations

Experience: NOT REQUIRED
- Previous experience in food preparation or handling is preferred
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail transactions
- Knowledge of food safety regulations in the food industry
