Savello USA, Inc. is Hiring a Production/Warehouse Worker Near Barre, PA

Savello USA, Inc., Importer of Fine Italian Foods, located in Hanover Township is looking for a F/T and a P/T person responsible for slicing, weighing, wrapping, packing olives, cheeses, and other, pick, fill, and complete orders.

Must have excellent personality, communication, and math skills.

Must have the ability and willingness to learn all company procedures and regulations regarding food handling and sanitation. Candidate needs to ensure that work areas are ready for the next shift; clean and prepared workstations, equipment, floors, walls, etc. Other responsibilities may be assigned. Cooperating with co-workers to ensure supervisor’s inspection satisfaction.

Requirements and Conditions:

Ability to understand all math aspects for shipping and receiving and scan to the computer.
Ability to comprehend and follow all company procedures and regulations regarding food handling, sanitation, and security of the warehouse.
Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
Job requires being honest and ethical, being detail oriented and thorough in completing work tasks, being reliable, responsible, dependable, and fulfilling obligations, pleasant with others on the job and displaying a good-natured attitude.
Candidate is exposed to various temperature changing and must work inside a cooler depending on the work of the day.
Must have the ability to perform physical job duties, which may include walking, bending, standing for a prolonged period, kneeling, loud noise with the use of personal protection Equipment (PPE), moving pallets; with the possibility of lifting products up to about 85lb. boxes as needed.
Must follow specific dress code requirements, required to follow company GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and COVID-19 safety requirements using protective equipment.
Ability to work overtime or different shifts with advance notice.

Benefits:

Day Shift (7:30AM- 4:00PM) No weekend or Holidays.
