Join the team at Savannah Distributing as a Non-CDL Delivery Driver in Statesboro, GA and play a critical role in ensuring our products are safely and efficiently delivered to customers. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and representing our company in a professional manner. No CDL is required for this position. Drive local and surrounding areas; home every night and off on weekends.
*Daily Commision Pay Base Pay Annual Raises Yearly Retention Bonus beginning at 2 years of Service Christmas Bonus
*MUST PASS DRUG SCREEN, BACKGROUND AND PHYSICAL
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safely transport products to each designated stop on assigned route
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicle
- Pick up returns and necessary documentation for processing
- Collect payments from customers
- Complete all required logs and reports
- Adhere to company safety standards at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Basic understanding of general safety principles
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to pass a driver physical exam and maintain a clean driving record
- Ability to drive a 26ft box truck
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Pass pre-employment and random drug screens
- Ability to follow all state and federal laws while driving
- Basic mathematical skills
- Dependable with excellent time management skills
- Excellent communication skills for creating positive customer experiences
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions
- Frequently required to reach, bend, stoop, and lift 15-30 pounds, and occasionally lift 60 pounds
