SAS Sales and Marketing is Hiring a Wholesale Sales and Merchandising Associate Full Time Near Fort Lauderdale, FL

About us
SAS Sales and Marketing (www.sassalesandmarketing.com) has been building brands in Florida for over ten years, helping create success for emerging beverage brands such as Odyssey Mushroom Elixir, BLK Water, Saint James Iced Tea, and more. We are a brand management, sales, and merchandising company based in Boca Raton, Florida looking to grow our current team with both full-time and part-time experienced salespersons/merchandisers in Tampa/St. Pete, Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties.
Responsibilities:
  • Open and manage independent and chain retail accounts in your territory, including Publix, Whole Foods, Target, The Fresh Market, and others. Audit store, merchandise shelves, and sell in incremental placements.
  • Introduce exciting, new brands to current SAS retail accounts.
  • Develop relationships with key personnel at store level.
  • Gain incremental space, secondary placements, and displays to maximize sales on promotion.
  • Eliminate distribution voids and improve current brand presence and win at-shelf placement.
  • Review back-room inventory, merchandise/re-stock shelves as needed, communicate and execute retail sales promotions.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to retailers and brands.
Requirements:
  • Interest in “good for you” beverages and new product launches.
  • Knowledge of local retail chains and accounts.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, positive attitude, self-starter.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable personal transportation with vehicle insurance.
  • Comfortable using a company-provided iPad to document store visits on Repsly, a sales and merchandising app that helps win market share.
