Performs a variety of technical and support duties to assist in the daily operations of HealthFit including, promoting the fitness center and its activities, conducting health risk assessments, equipment orientation, and assessments for fee based programs for new members, stocking and folding of towels, storage of equipment and supplies. Responsible for monitoring and maintaining fitness equipment while ensuring safe and effective use. Serves as the go-to for members who may have questions about equipment usage and maintenance. Assists with personal training sales which includes communicating with members and prospects, and assisting the front desk.Required Qualifications
- Require current nationally accredited fitness certification; American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) preferred; or must be enrolled in a nationally accredited fitness certification program within 30 (thirty) days, and obtain certification within six (6) months of hire/transfer date.- Require Basic Life Support/CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification within ninety (90) days of hire.Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer a Bachelor’s degree in Health/Fitness or related field.
- Prefer previous experience as a personal trainer and/or exercise specialist.Mandatory Education
