JOB SUMMARY:

The Director of Health Services (RN) overseesthe clinical department of the Community Based Care facility and ensures resident care needs are met.This position will conduct assessments, develop care plans, coordinate residentcare, and provide supervision and teaching to health services team members.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement new procedures as needed
  • Train, supervise, lead, and motivate team
  • Director of Health Services (RN)Assist clinical subordinates to identify condition changes
  • Communicate with residents, staff, family members, etc. as needed
  • Utilize standard precaution knowledge and infection control measures where required
  • Knowledge of and ability to conform to the applicable law, rules and regulations
  • Oversee nurse delegation
  • Follow up with residents that have a change in condition or chronic skin issue
  • Responsible for employee TB testing program
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

RN License in the State of practice
