About the Role
SAP is becoming the end-to-end business transformation platform in the cloud and Customers will accelerate the shift of core application workloads to the cloud.

To move our customer workloads and internal systems from legacy to public cloud- Azure, GCP and Converged cloud, we are looking for cloud infrastructure domain expert with extensive experience in cloud native services for multi availability zone deployments.

As Sr. Cloud Infrastructure lead you will utilize your technical knowledge and experience to drive the build of scalable & secure cloud network, provisioning of compute and storage via automation. You will collaborate with various application areas, design/automation, network architecture, security, storage and operations teams to drive technical decisions and deliver solutions to team initiatives. Also design service readiness and quality framework. Provide feedback loop into build/migration automation and quality workstreams. Partner with other Tech Leads and Architects in driving modular/ assembly line delivery of infra components. Proactive technical gaps and risk analysis for service acceptance and operational readiness of application stacks. Work as a SPOC for migration team in the region.

Experience / Role Requirements

• Relevant professional experience as an engineer and technical leader
• Extensive experience with large scale, distributed, highly available, fault tolerant systems in the multi cloud environments
• Experience in designing/ architecting and managing HA/DR solutions in multi-availability zones across regions.
• Working knowledge of network, architecture and security standards. Knowledge of cloud native storage services (ANF, CVS etc.) and replication technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting experience specific to network connectivity, performance, storage, operating systems/compute optimization.
• Hands-on experience with industry standard CI/CD and DevOps tools. Azure or GCP certification will be a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
