We are looking for a passionate and experienced leader to ensure the success of NS2 Labs. Labs is the collaboration hub of NS2 for working with partners and customers. It combines leading-edge physical and virtual components into an innovation engine that produces demonstrations, POCs, academic breakthroughs, hackathons, and extensive engagement. NS2 Labs pushes the boundaries of what is possible with the combination of NS2 and partner capabilities to create solutions that give our nation a strategic technology advantage.

The Role

You will manage all components of NS2 Labs to ensure that we fulfill our mission of being the innovation brand of NS2. You will drive content creation and tooling for the virtual environment. You will facilitate speakers, co-hosting, and academic events in the physical environment, and ensure that the space is optimized for these activities. You will crowdsource potential projects from across the NS2 Labs ecosystem, create the packages needed to get them funded, and track their successful implementation.

Role Requirements

You will need:

• Project management experience including task tracking, task metrics, project ROI and success criteria.
• Experience with and a passion for customer interaction and selling
• Experience leading software projects to successful completion.
• Fluency with internet technologies and data technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.

We are looking for a result-oriented self-starter who will be fully accountable for the success of Labs. This is a management role, but requires technical proficiency such that you can appropriately task and manage implementation personnel. Experience with Atlassian products, cloud development, and an understanding of system integration best practices will be highly valuable.
