Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Location: Palo Alto, CA

Purpose and Objective:

SAP Labs, LLC. seeks a DevOps Engineer at our Palo Alto, CA location responsible for designing, building, managing, and delivering operational infrastructure to support live Cloud Services including Custom Application Extensions and Cloud Products.

Expectations and Tasks:

Understand SAP cloud integration technology stack to integrate vibrant business partners. Demonstrate excellent quality, design, development and delivery skills in scrum teams working in short development and release cycles. Deliver the end to end integration solution with various 3rd parties’ solutions or others. Work with geographically distributed teams seamlessly. Accountable to committed solution availability and compliant to secure operational process. Active role in the definition of cloud operation and support methodology. Manage DevOps teams in efficient way. Follow DevOps technology trend and collaborating with global topic owner. Drive team to deliver operational support which includes operation, monitoring and performance optimization to help teams to resolve issues. Ensure that the defined Operational processes are followed, and SLAs are met. Customer Communication and management based on the requirements from the responsible projects and products. Ensure business continuity. Optimize Operational Costs. Provide Up to Date Services and 24x7 Rotational support.

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field of study and 1 years of experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and 0 years of experience.

Work Experience:

Experience or coursework must involve the following: DevOps engineer in AWS, GCP, Azure and Alibaba Cloud running large scale infrastructure deployments with automation scripts; Automate terraform and Jenkins to deploy resources in AWS and Azure; Develop Python and SQL language with API integration in public clouds; Infrastructure-as-Code; Automate end-to-end account creation process in Multicloud and develop security/compliance tools for monitoring; Migrate datacenter existing resources into public cloud using terraform import mechanism; CICD Pipeline development – continuous integration and continuous deployment; and Subversion control for the codes to maintain the integrity and track the changes.
