THE ROLE

We’re looking for Director of the Sales and Operation Planning who will be responsible for the supply chain process of SAPs data center assets. The focus of this position will be the specific processes and systems for an integrated supply planning process to integrate capacity and demand planning by utilizing advance analytics. You will drive continuous improvements of the standardized business capabilities to be up to date with the current best practices. This will be done in close collaboration with business stakeholders subject matter experts and peers in functions like operations and finance with whom you will build a strong network.

This position will also manage the asset from demand to retirement and work with other teams in SAP to ensure completeness of the process. A successful hire will keep the planning on track and moving toward the resolution of demand and supply plans, as well as the financial objectives of the business.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the team responsible for demand and capacity management as well as asset management
  • Work with the central purchasing team and data center management team to ensure proper alignment
  • Mature an asset management team that tracks all physical and virtual assets
  • Build process and predictive analytics by leveraging data and simulations to model ‘what if’ scenarios that consider impacts of demand changes, operations capacity, and external factors
  • Establish strategies and KPIs that drive speed, flexibility, and cost across the supply chain
  • Take an objective stance to ensure the best path possible for decision making
  • Work collaboratively with the many SAP Lines of Business in a complex environment
  • Establish creative solutions for complexity

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10 years of experience related to supply chain operations and planning
  • Experience leading teams through programs and ongoing operations
  • Ability to demonstrate how to work through multiple company functions and how they connect
  • Demonstrate the ability to handle conflicts to solve ambiguous, cross-functional problems
  • Strong interpersonal skills, resiliency, and ability to lead with data and action
  • Ability to educate stakeholders and influence cross-functional teams
