The Opportunity

As a part of the America’s team, SANY is looking to recruit a driven, forward-thinking and highly motivated Product Specialist for compact excavators. With the deep investment and backing of SANY Group, the U.S. business is expected to grow significantly in the coming years. Critical to this growth is the recruitment of a high-quality Compact Product Specialist who is responsible for driving compact excavator sales though our dealer and direct sales channels. This individual shall be a product and application expert that will work directly with SANY and dealer sales organization as the product expert conducting application and product training, demonstrations and overall promoting and driving road equipment sales.

With current revenues just short of $1B, SANY America continues to make strong progress and significant investments in the Americas market; the organization is now pursuing an aggressive growth strategy and is looking to move quickly beyond this initial platform and increase their market share. This role will require a leader who is forward-thinking, entrepreneurial, and motivated to seize the opportunity to represent and grow a respected global brand in the U.S. market.

This is a field-based opportunity. Qualified candidates will reside within the United States. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Product and application expert for Excavators 20 tons and below.
• Drive product sales and focus with SANY field sales team and dealers through end user engagement.
• Work alongside the district sales manager to manipulate/distribute market data to determine opportunities and increase sales within dealer channel.
• Raise any machine concerns to SANY engineers, product, and service team(s).
• Conduct product training and demonstrations for Excavators 20 tons and below.
• Work closely with marketing and product management to develop proper marketing message and materials.
• Support annual SANY product training with presentations, message, and delivery.
• Prepare and conduct SANY dealer and customer training. 
• Work cross-functionally within the organization.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• 5 years of construction industry experience.
• Operator experience with compact excavators preferred.
• Sales and Marketing experience preferred.
• OEM or dealer sales experience preferred.
• Deep knowledge of compact excavators, attachment configurations, and job site applications required.
• Ability to effectively communicate with dealers, customers, and internal SANY staff.
• Highly motivated and productive individual that works well in fast paced environment.

Compensation

Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience. It will include a base salary and commission.
