As a Registered Nurse your primary purpose would be to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day activities performed by the nursing assistants. Registered Nurse

Duties:

- Perform assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions based on resident needs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor resident vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and effective resident care

Skills:

- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems (e.g., PointClickCare) for documentation
- Knowledge of dementia care principles and strategies for managing behavioral symptoms
- Strong critical thinking skills to assess resident conditions and make informed decisions regarding their care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare team members
