A. POSITION PURPOSE
This full time position will report to the Director of the Certified Equity Professional Institute.
The CEP Institute, which is housed in the Silicon Valley Executive Center at the Leavey School of Business, provides certification for individuals who complete a three- level course of study in the area of equity compensation.
The primary purpose of this position is to manage operations of the CEP Institute certification program, which include; exam operations, continuing education, financial and administrative education, and information management. The individual in this role will work closely with the Director of the CEPI.
This position will have responsibility for supervision of one or more student workers and interns.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Exam Operations
Collaborate with Director of the CEPI to create and organize registration processes and policies
Collaborate with CEPI Program manager and Director of Finance and Administration to collect program fees and assist with accounts receivables
Manage the revision, production and distribution of exam-related materials
Manage relationships with all vendors related to exam administration
Manage annual revision of CEP Institute Policy Handbook
Continuing Education
Collaborate Director of Program Communities to ensure sound operations of continuing education and other initiatives related to the CEPI
Collaborate with CEPI Program manager and Director of Finance and Administration to collect continuing ed fees
Work with the Director of the CEPI to regularly evaluate policy related to continuing education
Financial and administrative Education
Collaborate with SVEC Director of Finance and Administration and other administrative team members to monitor revenue and expenses related to the CEPI
Collaborate with SVEC Director of Finance and Administration and other administrative team to create and execute contracts for CEPI programs
Collaborate with CEPI Director and the SVEC Director of Finance and Administration to develop and monitor the annual operating budget and ensure the financial well-being of the Institute
Collaborate with the CEPI Director to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of institutional procedures, operating workflows, reporting, and all other operational functions
Information Management
Manage databases and information systems and processes of the CEPI
Collaborate with CEPI team members to create assessments, collect data and organize research efforts for the Institute
Produce public-facing reports for the CEPI
Recommend improvements to data infrastructure
Provide analytics on website pages on a regular basis
Other
Cross training with the Sr Program Manager of the CEPI to understand other CEPI functions outside of this role
C. PROVIDES WORK DIRECTION
Provides direction to student workers.
D. GENERAL GUIDELINES
Recommends initiatives and implements changes to improve quality and services.
Identifies and determines cause of problems; develops and presents recommendations for improvement of established processes and practices.
Maintains contact with customers and solicits feedback for improved services.
Maximizes productivity through use of appropriate tools; planned training and performance initiatives.
Researches and develops resources that create timely and efficient workflow.
Prepares progress reports; informs supervisor of project status; and deviation from goals. Ensures completeness, accuracy and timeliness of all operational functions.
Prepares and submits reports as requested and required.
Develops and implements guidelines to support the functions of the unit.

Education
Bachelor's degree required.
Years of Experience
Three to five years of program or operations management experience
