C#, .NET, SQL developer (financial engineer) for long-term consulting in Manhattan for capital markets/investment banking company.

* This position requires working in the office in Manhattan for 5 days a week.
* Candidates must understand the basic math for financial products such as equities, derivatives, fixed income, etc Someone with a MS in Financial Math or CFA certification would be ideal.

* 10 years of experience at a hedge fund, investment bank or asset manager is ideal
* Candidates should be Citizens or Permanent Residents

As a developer, you would need to be proficient in the following tech stack:

• C# and SQL are required
• .NET Core, Entity Framework Core
• Developing web applications using advanced JavaScript/UI frameworks like Angular, Bootstrap and JQuery
• Service Oriented Architecture; Restful and SOAP based web services

In addition, the ideal candidate will also have experience with the following:

• Designing and implementing Portfolio and Risk Management systems
• Financial products (equities, derivatives, fixed income, etc. and related terminology)
• Experience in RDBMS Concepts, Data Modelling, Physical and Logical database design, Table normalization
• Running applications in containers in the cloud (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases is preferred
