The Sanmina facility in Austin, Texas provides precision machining and mechanical assembly services to customers. Precision machining capabilities include vertical milling, horizontal milling, and turning on a wide range of materials including aluminum, copper, composites, stainless titanium, and high alloy steel with a milling envelope of up to 60" x 50" x 40". The facility specializes in high-mix, low volume production and also offers sub-assembly, integration, New Product Introduction services, and clean room assembly.

Job Purpose:

Traffic/Shipping Coordinator: Support activities related to the shipping of finished goods. Communicates and coordinates with transportation companies. Handles routine questions and problems and maintains open communication with other departments throughout the shipping/delivery cycle. Confirms the accuracy of invoices, bills and charges relative to the shipment of goods. Logs order information into the computer and files and distributes paperwork as necessary. Maintains records and generates reports for accounting and other areas.

Nature of Duties:

• Freight Control
• Report preparation
• Works with moderate supervision
• Escalates issues to supervisor for resolution as necessary
• Assists with various projects and other duties as assigned by direct supervisor

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma, GED, or 2 year of experience in logistics
• Microsoft Office, intermediate to advance required
• Oracle or equivalent ERP experience is required
