Job Purpose:

As Quality Manager, you will be responsible for developing a world class quality department and driving plant wide continuous improvement that results in unparalleled quality performance. You will have the opportunity to reinforce foundational quality principals, as we develop innovative manufacturing and inspection processes to build high quality semiconductor,defenseand data infrastructure products. This position will be responsible for managing, coordinating and administering all functions of the site's Quality Management System, including receiving inspection activities, quality engineering, supplier qualitymanagement,PCB inspection (in-process and final)and the QC laboratory.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor QA Department, consisting of quality engineers, receiving inspection, QC personnel and Dry/Wet Lab personnel
• Be an outspoken advocate for Quality First throughout the plant
• Expediently and effectively communicate with customers on quality escapes, visits, escalations, etc.
• Maintain and improve the site QMS (including NCR and CAPA system, internal audit, training, etc.)
• Responsible for ensuring effective quality planning (including PFMEAs, process flows and control plans) for NPI and production parts.
• Maintain the site QMS compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and TL9000 by coordinating and responded to site certification audits
• Maintain the Military MIL-PRF-31032 and Nadcap compliances
• Develop additionalsources of data and track and report key Quality-related performance indicators (KPIs), including first pass yield, scrap ratesand statistical process control.
• Manage and improve supplier quality
• Be an advocate for lean and six sigma manufacturing principles and drive continuousimprovement
• Drive cross functional projects with manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering to verify and validate existing manufacturing processes and capabilities
• Participate in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews with engineering
• Addressprocessyieldsby driving cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective actionsutilizing a methodical approach (DMAIC) to root cause and continuousimprovement.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree required, Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial or Mfg Engineering preferred
• 5 years of Quality Engineering or Management experience in a regulated manufacturing environment. Printed circuit boardexperienceis a plus but not required
• 3 years of direct people management
• Knowledge of IPC-6012 and IPC-A-600 helpful, will train
• Demonstrated experience working directly with customers to resolve concerns, conduct audits and host visits
• Understandingof ISO 9001:2015, AS9100, TL-9000, ISO-14001, MIL-PRF-31032or similar standardswith demonstrated success in passing certification audits
• Expert level knowledge of root cause analysis techniques and corrective action
• Hands on experience working with suppliers to improve quality
• Knowledge of lean principles (Green or Black belt certification a plus)
• Knowledge and experience in the application of statistical process control
• Demonstrated experience leading diverse teams in a dynamic environment required
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills required
• Open-minded self starter with the ability to adapt, improvise and problem solve, as well manage multiple tasks and projects and concisely explain complex issues supported with data.
• Excellent analytical abilities and comprehensive understanding of quality toolbox (SPC, 8D, FMEA, Control Plans, etc.)

Salary Range (annual) : $120,000.00 - $150,000.00
