Job Purpose:

Quality Control Inspector : Performs product inspection and/or audits of quality control programs. Performs packaging line and manufacturing inspections, and sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials. Ensures raw materials, in-process and finished products meet company standards. May apply approval or rejection labels to bulk raw materials once analytical data is evaluated. May assess draft and final label copy, using knowledge of labeling regulations. Minimizes down time by reducing production rework and recalls.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:

* Validate that the measuring instruments are calibrated

* Release of First Articles

* Material Receipt Inspection

* Release of first and last piece

* Releasing the product in process

* Validate electrical tests

* Identify nonconforming material

* Filing of Material Registration NOT compliant

* Purge material NOT compliant"

* Filling inspection records of first piece, process inspection and final product

* Filling of pre-control charts (spc)"

* Update defect chalkboards on daily basis

* Run the quality reaction plan

* Validate that the operative personnel are certified in the operation performed

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 4-6 years relevant experience

Salary Range(annual): $48,000-$64,000
