The Sanmina Fremont facility is a full-service enclosure systems solution manufacturing plant. Located in California’s Silicon Valley, this facility produces low-to-mid volume New Product Introduction (NPI) runs to full-scale volume. The Fremont facility offers everything from small piece parts to fully integrated and tested systems. In addition, this location offers in-house painting capabilities and flexible logistics solutions in distribution, inventory management and hubbing, as well as repair services.

Job Purpose:

As a Material Expeditor has the responsibility for providing various expediting, administrative and data support to work cell procurement teams.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:

• Performs a variety of coordinating, routing, and material handling duties to meet production schedules. Expedited parts to remedy shortage problems.
• Picks up and delivers materials within and outside the company and maintains records on material flow.
• May ensure incoming materials are properly routed.
• May monitor the flow of materials and parts between departments in order to meet scheduled commitments.

Education & Experience:

• High School diploma
• Requires 1-2 years of related work experience.
• Must be comfortable with & display safe practices in a plant manufacturing environment and also be comfortable and appropriate in an office environment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good English communication skills.
