The Sanmina Fremont facility is a full-service enclosure systems solution manufacturing plant. Located in California’s Silicon Valley, this facility produces low-to-mid volume New Product Introduction (NPI) runs to full-scale volume. The Fremont facility offers everything from small piece parts to fully integrated and tested systems. In addition, this location offers in-house painting capabilities and flexible logistics solutions in distribution, inventory management and hubbing, as well as repair services.
Job Purpose:
As a Material Expeditor has the responsibility for providing various expediting, administrative and data support to workcell procurement teams.
Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performs a variety of coordinating, routing, and material handling duties to meet production schedules. Expedites parts to remedy shortage problems.
- Picks up and delivers materials within and outside company and maintains records on material flow.
- May ensure incoming materials are properly routed.
- May monitor the flow of materials and parts between departments in order to meet scheduled commitments.
Education & Experience:
- High School diploma
- Requires 1-2 years of related work experience.
- Must be comfortable with & display safe practices in a plant manufacturing environment and also be comfortable and appropriate in an office environment.
- Basic computer skills.
- Good English communication skills.
- This is an ITAR facility and applicant must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident.
