Manager/Full Stack Developer - Professional Services - REMOTE
Sangoma, a global industry leader in Unified Communications, is looking for a Manager of Professional Services with a Full Stack Development background. Utilizing our award-winning proprietary software and products we can offer complete and customizable communications solutions to meet the demands of every size business.
The Manager of Professional Services will be responsible for the overall delivery of Complex and Custom solutions to clients. This includes managing a software/hardware integration team, which includes proprietary as well as partner and third-party products, and directing and managing customer proof of value scenarios. The team includes a lead for each customer implementation as well as Project Managers, Sales Engineers, and Implementation Specialists.
Your Role:
  • Lead and Manage a team of Full Stack Developers: coach and develop their performance and career path.
  • Assist with developing applications as required, and act as final code review authority for the team.
  • Lead client implementation service delivery providing management and oversight of implementation projects and staffing including project assignments, and capacity planning.
  • Communicates effectively with Sales Engineering and clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions; continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
  • Assist Sales Engineering with managing implementations of our custom solutions and related infrastructure.
  • Identify risks and facilitate timely solutions to maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Oversee and execute process improvements and the development of policies, procedures, methods, and tools in support of delivery.
  • Responsibilities include supporting pre-sales processes and working with Sales Engineering to win new business; implementing business; proposal review and refinement; recruiting and staff development.
  • Establish strategic plans along with other business leaders and maintain strong relationships with solutions delivery, the sales team, client and account managers, and other business leaders in support of cross-product businesses.
  • Serve as a core member of the Management Team. In this capacity, provides management with regular project updates; serves as a critical advisor to the team as an Implementation leader, and helps to set the direction for the implementation and professional services team, with a special emphasis on how and what we implement.
  • Maintains reporting on capacity, amount of implementation work, and future outlook in order to advise strategic direction setting.
Your Background:
  • BS or MS degree in a related field or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Deep experience in JAVA/Spring Framework, JavaScript/NodeJS, React, CI/CD tools and AWS environments.
  • At least 8 years of experience demonstrating management and leadership experience, preferably in a Telecommunications and related SaaS-based professional services / custom development environment.
  • Strong operational management, project management, consulting, technology, and process improvement skills. Strong communication/presentation and negotiation skills.
