Sanglob Business Services Private Limited is Hiring an IT Security Analyst Near East Lansing, MI

We are seeking a skilled IT Security Analyst to join our team for a contract position with our client in Lansing, Michigan. This role will function as a Compliance Specialist within the Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB), supporting various Agency Services Divisions.

If you are a detail-oriented IT Security Analyst with experience in compliance and a strong understanding of security frameworks and regulations, we encourage you to apply. This is a hybrid role based in Lansing, MI, and local candidates are preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, plan, implement, and support security compliance for customer applications.
  • Ensure adherence to, compliance with, and reporting on all Federal, State, and Industry technical security requirements.
  • Serve as a liaison between Agency Services, other areas, and vendor partners.
  • Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical individuals.
  • Interpret frameworks, regulations, laws, policies, and GRC tools.

Requirements:

  • Experience with NIST 800-53 compliance.
  • Familiarity with IT security technical architecture design methodology and best practices.
  • Strong external vendor contact and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Excel.

Nice to Have:

  • Expertise in adherence to Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards (DSS), IRS Publication 1075 regulations, and IRS Safeguards Computer Security Evaluation Matrices (SCSEMs).
  • Knowledge of CJIS, CMS, HIPAA security frameworks.
  • Familiarity with SOC II.
  • Experience with Keylight (by Navex) GRC Tool.

Notes:

This position requires clear communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to work with multi-million-dollar systems ensuring compliance with policies, processes, and State and Federal security mandates.

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
