Primary Locations: North Bethesda, Towson and Crownsville Maryland
Travel Requirements: Travel to all Maryland facilities.

Compensation: $80,000-$90,000 Annual Salary $12,000 Sign on Bonus

As a Traveling Therapist at Sandstone Care, you will have the opportunity to:
- Deliver individual, group, and family therapy as needed, using evidence-based practices and modalities to help clients develop coping skills, self-awareness, and resilience.
- Step in for staffing absences, supporting increased client census and providing general assistance, and case management contributing to the smooth functioning of our programs.
- Support clients at multiple levels of care, working with diverse mental health, substance use, and mood disorder diagnoses, guiding them on their journey to healing and recovery.

Who You Are
You are a passionate and skilled mental health counselor who wants to make a difference in the lives of young adults and adolescents. You have a clinical license and experience in treating substance abuse and mental health issues. You are proficient in various therapeutic modalities and techniques, and you have strong documentation skills. You are also flexible and adaptable, ready to work in different settings and with different clients.
Some of your qualifications are:
- Clinical licensure in Maryland is required:(LCPC, LCSW-C LCMFT) Provisional Licenses (LGPC, LMSW, LGMFT) will also be considered.
- Previous experience in substance abuse treatment, preferably in Residential and/or Outpatient settings
- 1 year of experience in mental health and or mood disorder treatment (Ideal but not required)
- Preferred clinical skills/abilities: Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Strong Documentation Skills
