We'reseeking a compassionate and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing/Unit Manager to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of our residents.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse with current unencumbered state licensure
• Supervisory experience in a team leader role
• Work experience as a professional nurse in a skilled nursing facility
• CPR certification
• AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the optimal allocation of present staff, per shift and assignment on each unit
• Coordinate the care of patients on assigned shift
• Review the 24 Hour Report and review patients as indicated for change of condition
• Receive employee, resident, and family grievances and refer information to the appropriate manager
• Assist nurses in completing risk assessments and investigations of injury
• Notify Assistant Director of Nursing and Human Resources Director of identified learning needs
• Receive employee call-offs and replace for absences and vacancies for upcoming shift(s)
• Work with the Staffing Coordinator and Director of Nursing to ensure that vacancies are filled in advance
• Perform other duties as assigned

The Assistant Director of Nursing/Unit Manager position provides a predictable schedule, working Monday to Friday from 3 pm to 11 pm, ensuring a great work-life balance.
