Position Title: Mental Health Technician

Location: Cascade, Colorado

Schedule: Day Shift | Thursday, Friday and Saturday 12.5 Hour Shifts

As a Mental Health Technician, you will work in a residential facility in Cascade Colorado, where you will provide compassionate and effective care for our clients. You will have the opportunity to interact with them on a daily basis, assist them with their daily needs, and support them in their recovery journey. You will also participate in recreational activities that promote physical and emotional well-being, such as hiking, yoga, and gardening. You will ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for everyone by applying your verbal de-escalation and redirection skills. You will collaborate with other staff members, such as counselors, nurses, and therapists, to deliver high-quality services and coordinate care plans.

This role is ideal for someone who is looking for a position in the behavioral health field, who has a passion for helping people overcome their challenges, and who values integrity and commitment. 

Qualifications

You are a passionate and dedicated professional who wants to make a difference in the lives of adolescents. You have:

• A bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health science or equivalent work or volunteer experience.
• Previous experience with treatment of substance abuse and/or co-occurring disorders.
• Training in verbal de-escalation and/or mental health (strongly preferred).
• A valid driver’s license with no restrictions - Must be willing to transport clients in a 15-passenger van.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience (ideal but not required).

Compensation and Benefits

• $17.00 Hourly 
• $1-2 Post hire increases available.
