Job Summary: Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort is seeking a passionate and talented Mixologist & Barista to join our dynamic team at the Ballyhoo Lobby Bar. The Ballyhoo Lobby Bar offers guests a unique and delightful experience, combining expertly crafted cocktails with artisanal coffee creations. If you're a skilled mixologist with a passion for coffee, and you're excited about elevating our guests' experience, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of expertly crafted cocktails and coffee beverages.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of cocktail recipes, brewing methods, and coffee bean origins.
• Engage with guests, providing exceptional service and enhancing their overall experience.
• Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, placing orders as needed to maintain a well-stocked bar and coffee station.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines in the preparation and serving of beverages.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative drink and coffee specials.
• Participate in training sessions and continuously expand your knowledge of mixology and coffee culture.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds of supplies and equipment.
• Bend, stoop, and reach frequently to access bar equipment and ingredients.
• Work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Must have the manual dexterity to operate bar equipment and coffee machines.
• Tolerate exposure to various temperature and noise levels.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a mixologist and barista in a high-end or similar establishment.
• A passion for mixology and coffee culture, with a desire to stay updated on industry trends.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• TIPS or similar certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of the Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort and its amenities is beneficial.
