Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., security studies, criminal justice, military science)
8 years related experience that is relevant to the following:

• Experience providing analysis in the DoD space.
• Ability to develop technical assessment reports in force protection policies, and tactics. · Ability to evaluate AT/ Force Protection trends.
• Experience developing recommendations for DoD involvement in improving policy and programs to counter threats to DoD personnel and installations.
• Ability to support DoD officials in maintaining the DoD interface to reporting systems.
• Can communicate regularly with the directorate and ensure Force Protection and Law Enforcement issues are addressed in appropriate senior leadership forums.

Overview:
SANCORP is seeking a Force Protection Analysis and Integration to support the office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Nuclear and Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (DASD NCWMD). The mission of the Office of the DASD NCWMD is to develop policy guidance; provide astute policy advice; and oversee planning, capability development, and operational implementation to assure warfighting and national security advantages in the mission areas of nuclear weapons and countering weapons of mass destruction. The following are examples of responsibilities:

• Provide analysis on DoD antiterrorism and force protection policies, programs, and tactics and develop technical assessment reports on such programs and associated issues.
• Evaluate AT/ Force Protection (FP) trends and develop recommendations for DoD involvement in improving policy and programs to counter threats to DoD personnel and installations.
• Support DoD officials in maintaining the DoD interface to the FBI eGuardian reporting system.
• Communicate regularly with the Mission Assurance Directorate to ensure Force Protection and Law Enforcement issues are addressed in appropriate senior leadership forums.
• Pro-actively manage issue areas being supported, prepare written products, and provide technical expertise in support of the offices of the ASD HDHA, DASD HDI & DSCA, DASD DC&MA, and DASD NCWMD in accomplishment of their missions.
• Prioritize and multi- task effectively in a fast-paced, high pressure, national security organization.
• Provide technical and programmatic analysis, and short-, medium-, and long-range policy, planning, and strategy development support.
• Draft, coordinate, and support dissemination of well-written and clear Department-level policies and guidance.
• Support may range from short duration problem solving to lengthy projects involving multiple complex national security policy challenges.
