SUMMARY:
The Proposal Coordinator will join a small and highly experienced team of proposal coordinators, working closely with them and also independently, with opportunities for professional development and growth. This role serves as a key support organizer of Sanborn proposals and proposals content preparation. Their job is to ensure that Sanborn proposals are accurate, timely, compelling, and high quality.
This position analyzes bid documents to identify and outline proposal requirements; coordinates kickoff meetings; organizes and tracks proposal writing assignments; creates and maintains schedules for the development and on-time submission of proposals; edits/writes content; formats writing assignments developed by others; and prints, binds and sends final submission in accordance with specific RFP requirements.
The Proposal Coordinator also acts as the steward of Sanborn’s proposal content and has responsibility for information management of proposal content. The role contributes to the updating and creation of technical and non-technical boilerplate content. The Coordinator contributes to maintaining and expanding Sanborn’s content management processes, software and tools.
This position works with staff at all levels of the organization to schedule and facilitate meetings, to coordinate tasks assigned to proposal teams, and to ensure appropriate review and sign off on all proposal materials and submittals.
Candidate must be adept at multi-tasking and be able to work effectively in a collaborative manner under the pressure of tight deadlines with a positive outlook and unwavering attention to detail.
WORK LOCATION:
This position is expected to be either full time working in the Sanborn Colorado Springs, CO headquarters office, or hybrid utilizing the Sanborn Boston, MA Office.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES:

EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from accredited four-year college or university.
EXPERIENCE
1 - 2 years experience in proposals, communications, writing/journalism or marketing
Full-Time Salary Range: $50,000 - $70,000
Additional Requirements:
Applicant must live in the U.S. and be authorized to work in the U.S.
