San Joaquin Valley Homes is Hiring a Financial Analyst Near Visalia, CA
San Joaquin Valley Homes, the fastest-growing Home Builder in the Central Valley, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Accounting & Finance team.
Responsibilities:
- Record journal entries and maintain a General Ledger
- Perform account analysis and research budget to actual variances
- Complete monthly bank reconciliations
- Manage the entry of accounts payable transactions and disbursements
- Monitor, track, and follow up on Accounts Receivable balances
- Setup new G/L accounts, entities, and projects in the Accounting system
- Assist in the preparation of income statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports
- Create and manage project-specific budgets
- Assist with monthly reconciliation of project budgets and invoicing
- Manage department spreadsheets and tracking tools
- Work closely with the Assistant Controller and Accounting Manager to meet department deadlines
- Other duties as assigned
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with BuildPro and Hyphen Solutions Software a plus
- Experience with budget creation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- 1-2 years of work experience, preferably in homebuilding, a plus
Salary Compensation and Benefits:
$50,000-$60,000 DOE
