JJR Management Services Inc dba San Joaquin Valley... is Hiring a Financial Analyst Near Visalia, CA

San Joaquin Valley Homes, the fastest-growing Home Builder in the Central Valley, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Accounting & Finance team.


Responsibilities
:

  • Record journal entries and maintain a General Ledger
  • Perform account analysis and research budget to actual variances
  • Complete monthly bank reconciliations
  • Manage the entry of accounts payable transactions and disbursements
  • Monitor, track, and follow up on Accounts Receivable balances
  • Setup new G/L accounts, entities, and projects in the Accounting system
  • Assist in the preparation of income statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports
  • Create and manage project-specific budgets
  • Assist with monthly reconciliation of project budgets and invoicing
  • Manage department spreadsheets and tracking tools
  • Work closely with the Assistant Controller and Accounting Manager to meet department deadlines
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with BuildPro and Hyphen Solutions Software a plus
  • Experience with budget creation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • 1-2 years of work experience, preferably in homebuilding, a plus


Salary Compensation & Benefits
:

$50,000-$60,000 DOE
