San Francisco Community Health Center is seeking to fill the Senior Clinical Supervisor position, designed to support all client-facing staff. The Senior Clinical Supervisor will provide clinical consultation, clinical supervision, training and support to both individuals and teams. The Senior Clinical Supervisor will focus on building capacity on topics such as mental health, substance abuse, domestic violence, and crisis intervention. The Senior Clinical Supervisor reports to the Director of Workforce Transformation.

Essential Duties:

• Train, mentor, coach and support the clinical development of individual staff member
• Work with the teams to build capacity around the delivery of trauma-informed services
• Facilitate and develop individual and team educational goals with a focus on clinical skills development
• Provide clinical supervision to staff inclusive of MSWs, case managers and others
• Design and create clinical trainings for SFCHC staff
• Fill clinical gaps and carry a small caseload of high acuity clients
• Attend clinical case conferences and team meetings to provide clinical leadership and support
• Provide crisis intervention and conduct assessments and referrals for high risk clients
• Conduct chart reviews with therapists and develop and improve documentation standards
• Complete necessary documentation, UOS reports and treatment plans in a timely manner
• Participate in monthly staff meetings and in-service trainings
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Masters in social work 
• Active BBS LCSW in California state
• At least two years of experience overseeing or providing direct service to HIV/AIDS programs, case management and/or mental health / substance use programs 
• Experience providing clinical supervision
• Knowledge of HIV/AIDS, STIs, substance use, mental health, social service, criminal justice system
• Knowledge of harm reduction philosophy, client centered counseling, motivational interviewing and trauma informed care
• Must be adaptive, flexible and a team player
• Strong verbal and written proficiency in English
• Experience working with the Trans Community
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19, complete with booster shot and able to show proof of vaccination.
• Up-to-date with vaccinations, especially seasonal flu shot vaccine
• Proof of TB clearance (issued within the past 12 months or less)
• Spanish language skills preferred
