San Francisco Community Health Center is Hiring an IT SPECIALIST (Part-time) Near San Francisco, CA

 

The IT Specialist position is 20 hours per week and will support the IT team in managing the agency’s computer systems and networks, ensuring that staff and volunteers have access to IT tools on a consistent basis.

Preferred work days are Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Administer user accounts
  • Set up and configure computers, networked printers, equipment and other peripherals
  • Initiate supply orders for consumables and peripherals.
  • Enforce security policies for users
  • Set up and troubleshoot email accounts and lists
  • Provide computer technology training and support for SFCHC staff
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose problems, implement corrective action procedures within prescribed guidelines 
  • Escalate urgent/complex tasks
  • Maintain and update existing IT systems
  • Monitor system performance
  • Install software
  • Verify that peripherals are working properly
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or related experience in PC computing troubleshooting
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Online
  • 1 year of hardware and software troubleshooting experience
  • Experience training staff on computer use
  • Exceptional customer service skills 
  • Available to respond to afterhours or weekend needs as necessary 
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19, complete with booster shot(s) and able to show proof of vaccination 
  • Up-to-date with vaccinations, especially seasonal flu shot vaccine
  • Proof of TB clearance (issued within the past 12 months or less)

  • Ability to quickly comprehend and implement concepts
  • Ability to be creative with limited resources 
  • Advanced software and system knowledge: Microsoft Azure AD, Microsoft Office 365 Admin, Microsoft Office 2019, Microsoft Sharepoint, Microsoft OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Unifi Network, Xerox, Brother, Dymo, Windows 10 & 11, iPhones, password managers (LastPass), phone systems, OCHIN Epic.
