HOW YOU WILL IMPACT OUR MISSIONThe Delivery Helper under general supervision, performs varied warehouse duties in the filling of orders and delivery of supplies in the Food Service Department. This position reports to Warehouse Lead or Food Service Supervisor. WHAT YOU WILL DOLoads supplies on truck or cartDelivers food stuff and supplies to food stands within the Zoo or Safari ParkObtains stock from food stands for storage in warehouseKeeps warehouse areas and shelves in clean and orderly conditionKeeps records of supplies deliveredAssists in setting-up and stocking food standsOperates trucks and forkliftsWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOREDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONSCurrent valid California Driver’s license in good standing SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGEOrganization’s Safe driving practices & safety policyStorage and handling of food service supplies and materialsOperate motor vehicle safelyLearn to operate a forkliftUnderstand and carry out oral and written instructionsKeep simple recordsMake simple arithmetic calculationsWork effectively with others in a diverse environment
