MEDICAL RECORDS/STAFFING COORDINATOR(LVN)

Reports to Direct of Nursing

Summary/Objective
In keeping with our organization’s goals, the primary purpose of the Medical Records Coordinator is to oversee all health information records for the residents at the facility. Organize, distribute and purchase supplies as needed.

Job Duties

• Maintain resident medical records and management of electronic medical records (EMR) system
• Review medical records and assign correct codes in the EMR system for documents
• Scan and upload print documents to the resident’ EMR chart
• Coordinate proper documentation and record uploads with facility staff, medical director, and treating practitioners and providers in the EMR system
• Review of clinical documentation from referral sources
• Complete monthly nursing schedule
• Manage On-call rotation

Required Education and Experience

• Valid LVN in the state of Texas
• Skilled Nursing experience
