RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Update Manufacturing work instruction manuals
• Comply with ISO and Plant procedures by reviewing and capturing changes in work instructions
• Track and help maintain machine efficiency and performance data within the department to utilize in developing efficiency and reliability improvements
• Develop documentation for equipment and machinery to use for training and development of technical colleagues in the department
• Assist the manufacturing engineer with preparation of capital and expense requests for equipment to support production and cost improvement programs
• Work with the manufacturing team to purchase, install, test, debug, and validate new equipment and machine tooling within the department for new projects
• Ensure machinery and equipment is properly guarded with controls in place to ensure the safety of all colleagues and make improvements as needed
• Engage in regular training of and pursue learning opportunities to continually improve knowledge, capability, and performance.
• Support Inspector Level II in becoming proficient with quality procedures, inspection methods, and customer requirements.
