WHAT YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKE:

The Design Consultant’s main responsibility is to provide both customer service and suggestive selling to clientele, as well as help with the day-to-day operations of the Showroom.

• Offers suggestions to clients pertaining to pattern, color, etc.
• Coordinates special trim and fabric scheming assignments for clientele
• Build long lasting relationships and trust with key clients
• Be a market expert; current with interior design trends, the key players in the industry, clients specific to your territory and local events
• Responsible for meeting sales goals
• Organizes showroom and trimming displays as necessary
• Provide customer service to clientele including order processing, customer follow up and customer inquiries
• Support outside salesperson with requests incurred from road
• All other duties as assigned by Senior Management

WHO YOU ARE:

• 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in a showroom environment
• Organizational and time management skills
• Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
• Professional presentation
• Computer literacy including Microsoft Office Applications
• Design experience preferable
• Bachelor’s Degree
